Hello Japan~

Taiso! May 7, 2008

Look! I searched Youtube and found a video of what I have to do in P.E. class!
It’s an organized stretching exercise that pretty much everyone in Japan does. Like, everyone. Seriously.
Anyway, not sure if it’s always the same voice, but our school’s tape has this guy going “ichi, ni, san, shiiiiii, go roku, shichi, hachi!”

So this is what I had a test on. And you can see the shoulder step thing I’m talking about. It’s harder than it looks okay.

I really hope my school in Japan does that in gym. xD Surprisingly, that’s a LOT better than the stretches that we did in my gym class. Let’s just say some of them bordered on extremely rediculous, and did nothing whatsoever. (Ever heard of stretching each of your fingers individually before playing SOCCER? I don’t think so.)

It would be difficult, though. I agree. They all look so in unison, and if my school does that, I’ll get there and be so off beat that I’ll start cracking up.

    Oh well.

(Your blog is really interesting, by the way. I check it a lot. xD Just don’t comment. This is Shelbi from CS, just in case you don’t know.)
